Drug StorageBelieve it or not, we have been serving Franklin since the 1870’s. Our customers have come to know that because we stock such a wide range of items from DME to Respiratory to Wound Care to Ostomy Care, they can make one phone call and find all the products a patient may need. Our pharmacy has managed to survive throughout all the changes in healthcare over the years. Our success can be attributed to our fast, efficient, accurate and friendly service. Parking has always been a major concern at our location; therefore, we will continue to offer FREE prescription delivery!

To provide better service we have two pharmacists with over 40 years of experience to answer all of your health care needs. We also have a respiratory therapist and a team of experienced technicians trained in home medical equipment care who can deliver quickly and provide excellent assistance.  Read more about our Staff below.

Travis Richey

Travis E Richey, RPh, Owner

Graduated Cum Laude from Butler University in May of 1994, member of the golf team from 1990-1994. Travis worked for Kroger as a Pharmacy Manager for 13 years prior to buying Henderson Drugs on October 31, 2005. During that time of Kroger employment, he spent 2 years working for Eli Lilly (2000-2002), just to try to understand the manufacturing process and how it affects the end cost to the patient.
 

Ann M. Gordon, RPh, Owner

Graduated from Purdue University in May of 1979.  Ann was Captain and MVP of the Purdue Golf Team for 4 years.  She has worked at several retail pharmacies prior to owning Henderson Drugs and has been with Henderson’s for 10 years.  She is also active in the Franklin Community and the City Council.
 

Brett A. Richey, Home Health Manager

Attended Franklin College in the early 2000’s.  Brett was previously employed by the Boys and Girls Club of Franklin and was a certified High School Referee.  He has been with Henderson Drugs for 5 and a half years.  He is the Manager of our Convacare Franchise equipment as well as all other home health related products and is a certified fitter for Diabetic shoes and compression Stockings.
 

Danielle Stanfield, Pharmacy Technician and Accounts Receivable Manager

Currently attends IUPUI pursing a degree in Elementary Education. Danielle has worked as a pharmacy technician for Kroger for six years before moving to Franklin and starting at Henderson Drugs.  She is currently responsible for insurance and patient accounts receivable. Danielle is a licensed substitute teacher for the Danville Schools as well as the Franklin Schools.
 

Nancy Spiker, Cashier and Front End Manager

Graduated from Franklin Community High School in 1965.  Nancy has a BS in History, Education degree from Franklin College. She was a contract substitute teacher from 1969-1973 for Franklin and Clark-Pleasant Schools.  The next 29 years she worked for Paul D. Reynolds, MD, HK Andrews, MD, and Johnson County Internal medicine.  Nancy has been with Henderson Drugs since 2002. I very much enjoy helping our customers.  It was a way to combine some of my medical office experience with learning new things about the world of retail pharmacies.
 

Brad Blankenship, Delivery Technician

Currently attends University of Phoenix online pursing an associates degree in business management.  Brad has been with Henderson Drugs since 2005. I love the family atmosphere that Henderson’s provides.
